Is distilled or spring water better for fish tanks?
Bottled water generally has a pretty high TDS number from my experience (low 100s). High TDS in the water you choose will provide food for algae growth, especially once you throw fish poo into the mix. As for PH buffering, there are additives for that if that becomes a problem. You did not state if you have a salt or fresh water tank.
